Prior to becoming Tennessee, this 'State of Franklin' proprety was setlled by Colonel John Tipton in 1784. Take a step back in time to see the Cobb House and other historic structures from the late 1700's when this region of the USA was being pioneered! Roan Mountain is world-famous for it's beautiful Rhododendrons that blossom every Spring throughout the Summer. If you're visiting during warm weather, this once-in-a-lifetime view is well worth seeking. It is only a couple of minutes drive from most of our properties in this region.
Laurel Fork Falls is one of the most beautiful Appalachian Waterfalls in the region! Many seek it out for it's tranquil riverbanks, and relaxing environment. This rustic trail is your best opportunity to see untouched Tennessee Wilderness, and wildlife abounds here. This propety also touts a private fishing river, gorgeous covered bridge, and a cabin-like aeshetics that make for a true mountain home experience. We can't recommend this property enough!
Roan Creek touts some of the best fishing in the regoin... Dare we say the nation! Rainbow Trout, Large & Small Mouth Bass, and many other native species abound in this rural oasis.
